TP Leading the Way with Purpose Lab Student Ambassadors in New Working Groups

A guest blog by Lisa Dolan, Regional VP of Employee Experience for UKISSA at TP

We're thrilled to announce that TP has invited two Purpose Lab student ambassadors to join our working groups. This is part of our ongoing effort to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, both personally and professionally.

The partnership TP has with Purpose Lab has enabled this to happen, through the sessions TP conducts with student ambassadors within the programme and who will go onto become the business leaders of the future.

The partnership TP has with Purpose Lab has enabled this to happen

TP wanted to give a student from each working group the opportunity to be part of a real-life business initiative that they can help shape, provide insight on, and support.

The TP Wellbeing Working Group focuses on creating a supportive environment by providing resources, training, and support for mental, emotional, and financial health. Through various initiatives, the group promotes overall wellness, tracks participation rates, and monitors improvements in employee satisfaction.

The TP Generations Together Working Group supports growth across different generations by offering targeted training, development programmes, and encouraging professional network participation. The group enhances communication and collaboration through regular feedback and fosters a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.

We're excited to welcome Freya C from the University of Chester and Sasha Iqbal from Royal Holloway, University of London as our new student ambassadors.

Freya, with her personal experience with mental health and volunteer work with CSASS, will be a fantastic addition to the Wellbeing Working Group. Sasha, with her extensive experience in children's rights advocacy and passion for inclusivity and intergenerational dialogue, will bring fresh perspectives to the Generations Together Working Group.

Our ambassadors will attend monthly meetings, engage in discussions, support initiatives, promote wellbeing, foster mentoring relationships, enhance communication, and measure and report progress. By fulfilling these roles, they'll play a crucial part in promoting wellbeing and generational collaboration within TP.
