Building a stronger economy with Victoria Atkins MP, Financial Secretary to the Treasury

Building a stronger economy, with Victoria Atkins MP and Rt Hon Justine Greening

The government's Budget took place in the face of unprecedented global challenges, from the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, to the war in Ukraine, and the rising cost of living.

Last month’s Budget brought forward plans to expand free childcare for children over the age of nine months, further measures to support people with the cost of living and reforms to help people into work.

This event with Rt Hon Victoria Atkins MP, Financial Secretary to the Treasury and former Secretary of State for Education and Chair of the Purpose Coalition, Rt Hon Justine Greening will explore what the government’s Budget means for people and businesses across the UK, and how it has the potential to boost social mobility across the UK.

The Purpose Coalition is the leading national body that works with innovative, purpose-led organisations across the country, including major businesses, universities, local authorities and NHS Trusts, united by a passion to put social mobility and levelling up at the heart of every organisation.

This event takes place 10:00am - 11:00am on Wednesday 26th April 2023, with informal networking from 9:30am, at a Central Westminster location, which will be revealed to attendees before the event.

Places are limited so please register below, and get in touch with events@thisispurpose.com should you have any questions.
