Nisa, in partnership with The Purpose Coalition, has launched the “Breaking Down Barriers to Opportunity” Impact Report, hosted in the iconic setting of Parliament. This report underscores Nisa’s profound impact on social mobility, entrepreneurship, and community resilience across Britain, showcasing the significant role that independent retailers play in both the economy and local communities.
The event brought together stakeholders from various sectors, highlighting Nisa’s strategic approach to driving opportunity and supporting entrepreneurial growth within its extensive network of over 1,400 independent retailers.
Speaking at the reception, Peter Batt, Managing Director of Nisa, announced that this report serves as a prelude to the next phase of Nisa’s social impact journey. Q1 of 2025 will mark a pivotal moment as insights from the Breaking Down Barriers to Opportunity report are transformed into actionable strategies. Building on the achievements outlined, Nisa will focus on enhancing its support for colleagues, customers, and communities with a refreshed set of strategic recommendations aimed at accelerating social impact across its network and empowering retailers to expand their role as community champions.
