Founded by former UK Cabinet Minister, Rt Hon. Justine Greening, and UK entrepreneur David Harrison, the aim of the C-19 Business Pledge was to mobilise the immediate response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The aim of the Pledge was to encourage businesses and universities to be a force for good by making a commitment to doing what they could to tackle Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Pledge was backed by 300 organisations employing 3 million people, and organisations still committed to going further are now part of the Purpose Coalition.
